Job summary:
A prominent institute in the Northern Emirates is seeking to hire a Digital Learning Specialist (Content & LMS).
To initiate the the digitization of programs and launch our clients first digital modules, we are looking for a multi-skilled professional who can lead both content transformation and backend integration on our LMS platform.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a start-up-style environment and is eager to build digital learning solutions from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative e-learning experiences by: Managing and enhancing the institute’s Learning Management System (LMS). Designing, developing, and curating engaging digital learning content. Driving the digitization and implementation of new learning modules.
Job responsibilities
Content Development
Convert existing programs into engaging, interactive digital learning modules.
Work with SMEs to script, storyboard, and design e-learning content.
Get developed multimedia content (videos, quizzes, PDFs, presentations).
Ensure content is SCORM/xAPI compliant where needed.
Apply instructional design principles to enhance learning outcomes.
LMS Management
Upload, configure, and manage courses on the LMS.
Handle user roles, access rights, and course enrollments.
Monitor performance and analytics for learning engagement.
Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with the LMS provider if required.
Maintain course versioning, backup, and archival systems.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in managing Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, TalentLMS, LearnDash, etc.)
Strong knowledge of instructional design and digital pedagogy.
Proficient with authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic backend understanding (e.g., LMS configuration, basic HTML/CSS is a plus).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Job requirements
Education and experience
A master’s / bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, educational technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in digital learning content development and LMS administration, preferably in an academic setting.
